We had a good week (as usual). I’ll just briefly write about the main things:
Megan went to her first book group at the library. She did not enjoy it at all and she was anxious to leave the entire time. After each story/song, everyone would clap and Megan is not a fan of lots of loud clapping. She started crying pretty hard after everyone clapped the first time, but by the second…third…fourth…times she became gradually more calm. She kept doing the sign for “all done” the entire time. I think she will enjoy it more in the future (more like: I hope she will enjoy it more in the future).
We had our ward camp out this weekend. We got to a rough start because we didn’t have very clear directions, and we thought we were lost even though we were exactly where we were supposed to be. Megan got very upset in the car on the way there, which is very rare, and she screamed for a good 10 minutes. When we got to the camp, we realized she was really hungry, so after she got some food she was much happier. It was a fun activity, but we didn’t stay overnight. It was really cold, and we didn’t know how Megan would do – and I didn’t want to risk her getting sick again.
BYU football was on Saturday. We didn’t get the channel that it was being broadcast on, but we decided to go ahead and order it just for the game. It cost $12 to get the channel for a month (if you cancel before the month is out you have to pay 10 more dollars). It turns out that there is another BYU game on the same channel within the month, so we think it was a $12 dollars well spent. I have only one thing to say about the game L. Adam probably has a lot more to say…but I’ll leave it at that.
We have been working on colors with Megan. She knows a few colors so far – and this week she started saying “yellow” (while correctly identifying it). The only other color she says is “green”. We are also trying to teach her what the “doggie” says. She thinks it’s amusing when we say “woof! woof!” but that’s about it.
School is about the same for Adam. It’s pretty hard, but he is handling it well. I have almost finished Megan’s 1 year scrapbook. It’ll probably be done by next week.
Be sure to check out our weekly picasa album as it has a few more little details from the week – including photos.
Megan at 15 months in her ducky robe

6 days old…wearing her ducky robe:

She is filling that towel a little better now. That sure is a good picture to see how much she has grown. She sure is beautiful!
