So Megan has this alphabet video that she absolutely loves. It’s called “The Pocket Snails” and it’s about a boy named Jake who has 3 snails living in his pocket. When he needs to learn something new, he calls on his three little friends.
Adam and I both think the video is actually incredibly annoying. The music is obnoxiously repetitive, and sounds like old school Nintendo music. However, Megan loves it. She loves it so much in fact, that I looked into it and found that there are 2 other “Pocket Snails” videos. I checked another one out from the library (it’s about phonetics, and is equally annoying, but Megan now knows what vowels are and can name them off if I ask her) and the other one is about potty training and I am sure I will be looking to find that one when that time comes.
When I am totally annoyed by the video, and think I can’t stand another minute of the annoying British snails; I remember how much Megan loves it. It also helps to watch the following video:

I love it when kids giggle like that! It makes everything else seem not important!
I’m going to have to look that up because that seems to be the only way Emma learns things is through TV..sad I know but anyways, that I seriously want to see what they are like…and yes, it’ll probably be really annoying but as long as she’s learning, right? She is getting SO big !!
