Tonight for family home evening we took Megan to a field and flew a kite. Megan has never flown a kite before, but “kite” is a word we commonly associate with the letter “K”, so she knew right away what it was.
We had a good time, and it was especially nice to be outside enjoying the fresh air. It was a little on the chilly side, but I didn’t hear any complaints 🙂
With the pictures below, you also get a little bit of a sneak peak at “red week”. Megan is, of course, wearing all red, and the reason why I bought the kite in the first place was because Elmo is red (not to mention that Megan LOVES Elmo).
