I have not blogged in over a month. Time to play catch-up. Things are CRAZY busy and CRAZY fun around here these days. We are having a wonderful Summer so far.
On June 5th, the planet Venus passed directly between the Earth and the sun (called “The Venus Transit”.) It was pretty awesome. It was a wee bit cloudy that day, but every time the clouds parted, we were outside looking at the sun. We had our solar glasses from the May eclipse, and we saw little Venus in front of the sun: perfectly.
Our niece Katherine was at our house, so she got to see the transit as well.
Adam was so excited about the transit, that he would grab random people walking by the house and offer them our glasses so they could check it out. The reaction was positive from every one of them.
This is exactly what we saw throw our glasses. So cool.
