I know I am not going to do the holiday justice with this post. It is so hard for me to keep up with my blog these days. Can I just refer you to my sister’s blog: here? She is way better about it than I am!
We had a wonderful Christmas. Each year we learn a thing or two that we can do to make the next year even better (especially for Megan) and this year was really great. We spent time with both of our families and did lots of fun activities.
Our family ready for Christmas Sunday, or the Sunday before Christmas.
Baby Reese was blessed the Sunday before Christmas. I choose this picture because of Sam looking at his little girl. I am not sure I have known new parents who were more enamored and in love with their baby then Sam and Kaylee are with Reese Rose.
This daddy loves his baby.
The three Marshall babies born in 2013.
The blessing attendees. It was a beautiful and sweet blessing.
19 of my mom’s 25 grandkids. What a gorgeous bunch! Another great moment captured by Sarah.
Baby Reese and me. A little slice of Heaven.
We spent most of Christmas eve Day with the Johansons. My beautiful boy with his Grandma Jo.
Jane with her grandpa Johanson. Jane sure loves her grandpa.
Bentley and I. I think of all the Johansons, Alec resembles Bentley most. No complaints here!
Loren once again planned an awesome Minute-To-Win-It activity at the church. Megan doing the ping pong challenge. She LOVES Minute-To-Win-It.
Some of the girl cousins. Marshalls make beautiful children. Just sayin’….
My mom rocked Jane to sleep a few times during the vacation. Thank you mama!
My mom bought all the children nerf guns this year. My mom is pretty dang awesome.
Locked and loaded.
A few of the nativity participants. Sarah prepared an awesome program. Megan was narrator. She LOVED her role.
I love this sweet picture of Angel Jane. Sarah is so good about getting pictures of the children.
Angel Megan. So beautiful.
Christmas Eve pjs.
Christmas morning with the gang. I love my family.
The girls discovering their stockings on Christmas morning. They had a wonderful day!
Megan mostly asked for books for Christmas. She got what she asked for and she was pretty happy about it.
Alec on Christmas morning. He loved his Tegu Blocks. I love them too!
Enjoying Bradley’s new Christmas gift.
Visiting Jack on Christmas Day.
Making gingerbread houses. Megan took it pretty seriously.
Jane mostly ate her gingerbread house.
Our family visiting Jack on his angel anniversary. We love and miss our little guy so much. We are 5 years closer to seeing him again.
There are many things that we did that aren’t pictured here. So…like I said…visit my sister’s blog. She is waaaay better at documenting than I am. I mostly threw some pictures in here and added some captions. You are welcome, Megan!
As I was writing this post, I realized just how lucky I am that I have so many wonderful family members who work so hard to make our holidays great. With really little effort on my part, wonderful activities are planned, food is prepared, and the season is made so much more magical. Big thanks to my mom, my sister Sarah, my brother Loren, my brother Tad, and my in-laws, for all the many things they did this holiday that made it more special for my little family.
