Summer at the Splash Pads

Standard

We had so much fun this summer hitting the splash pads as often as we could. We have Seven Peaks passes, which the children love, but the children were never disappointed if we just headed to a local splash pad instead of the water park. I am so glad that Provo FINALLY got a splash pad, and also that there are other close ones in Springville and Spanish Fork.

One day Adam took the children to the splash pad by himself (which wasn’t uncommon). I remember worrying that day that something might go wrong.  Adam arrived home not shortly after he left with a crying and bleeding Megan. I guess Jane had to use the restroom so Adam hurried and took Jane and Alec and told Megan he would hurry right back.  As he was coming out of the bathroom just minutes later, he saw Megan crying and bleeding. She had slipped and fallen right on her face. Poor girl! Unfortunately, that was our last trip to the splash pad for the season. I am sure Megan won’t let it faze her for long and next season she will be just as excited for many more trips to the splash pad.

I wish splash pads were around when I was a kid! What a fun summer activity. Until next year!
