Adam and I grew up together in Las Vegas, Nevada. We started dating our senior year in high school and we were married in the Las Vegas LDS Temple in May of 2005.
We both received our undergraduate degrees at Brigham Young University. My degree is in psychology, and Adam’s is in physics and astronomy with a minor in mathematics. Adam also graduated from Iowa State University with his Master’s in Astronomy. We are currently living in Provo, Utah where Adam is working on his doctorate at BYU as well as teaching a few classes at Utah Valley University.

Megan is our oldest child. She is seven years old and as sweet as they come. The best possible description of Megan is “without guile.” She is just genuinely loving and kind. In April of 2012, Megan was diagnosed with Autism, Sensory Integration Disorder, and a Pragmatic Language Delay. She is so strong and brave and smart. We are so happy to have her in our family.

In November of 2008, we welcomed our special little Jack into our family. Jack Alexander spent the entirety of his life in the hospital, and returned home to his Heavenly Father after only six weeks of life. We find peace and comfort in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and KNOW that we will be with our son again.

Our third child is little Miss Jane. She is the cutest, funniest, sweetest little ball of spunk. She joined our family in the midst of the heartache following Jack’s death and then a miscarriage, and she was a much needed burst of sunshine. She and her sister get along so well. Having two daughters is so fun and wonderful.

Our most recent addition is Mr. Alec Adam. Alec has been such a peaceful influence in our family from the very start. He is calm and sweet and oh-so-happy. We call him Mr. Johandsome and Little Ace. He was named after his father Adam and his brother Jack Alexander. We feel so richly blessed to have his sweet spirit in our home.
