We took Megan to see Santa today. She wasn’t too excited, but she sat there patiently while we snapped some pictures.
When asked what she wanted for Christmas, she said, “to go outside”…pretty sure she was saying what she wanted at that exact moment, and not for Christmas…
Megan’s cousins each took their turns with Santa. Bradley asked for walkie-talkies and Jamison asked for chapstick. Mr. Always-Happy-Conley just smiled away his time with Santa. What a doll.
So far this season, Megan’s favorite thing about Christmastime is the music. She has already learned about thirty Christmas songs…in their entirety. She loves to dance and sing to all the carols.
Bradley taught Megan how to play “Jingle Bells” (her favorite Christmas song) on the piano. Daddy was being funny with the kids the other night, and played the wrong note on purpose. Megan and Bradley thought it was hilarious. Now you will rarely hear them play the song correctly!
Megan is sure helping to make our holiday season bright. My goodness I love her.
